as Malaysia's first Intelligent Garden City and situated
25 km south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is the new
Administrative Centre of the Federal Government. Named
after Malaysias first Prime Minister, the late Tunku
Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, it is a planned futuristic
model city with lush greenery built with emphasis on
design and architectural significance.
Of special interest to a visitor would be the
architectural concepts of its buildings, designs of its
square, boulevards and bridges, the scenic lake and the
wetlands and nature parks.
The vast man-made Putrajaya Lake is the citys
centre-piece that spreads over 400 hectares, a blue watery
expanse which blends across the different precincts. For
the best views of Putrajaya, take a cruise around the
lake. Through this meandering lake visitors can take a
leisurely lake cruise to see the many sights and landmarks
from e unique perspective - with wind in your hair and the
light spray of water turns the cruise into an experience
no one should miss.

The best way to take in the many sights would be to go on
a private day or a night tour, with pick-up from KL and a
vehicle and guide at your disposal for a leisurely visit
of the various sights and topped off with a with a lake
