Pangkor Island / Pulau Pangkor
Destinations Within Malaysia
Pangkor
Island, is located midway along the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia. An idyllic
and beautiful island resort, it is the destination to go for a carefree and
relaxing holiday. Its natural scenery of green hills and palm-fringed beaches of
fine white sand lapped by the warm blue waters of the Straits of Malacca is
truly relaxing.
One
of the best ways to see the island is to go on a round island van trip. As you
travel around coastal roads, you will see quaint Malay villages with wooden
houses on stills under the shade of coconut trees. Now and then, you will catch
glimpses of the white sand and the shimmering blue sea. In the forests, you may
chance upon shy deer or playful monkeys darting among the branches.
Located at Teluk Belanga, the Pangkor Island Beach Resort with its magnificent
1.2 km beachfront fringed by lush tropical greenery and rainforests, is an
excellent retreat for a memorable beachside holiday.
